Sydney & Kathryn’s Backyard Wedding and Salt Flats Bridals

This intimate spring wedding was so beautiful in every single moment and detail.

When Sydney and Kathryn first reached out to me, I could tell they were so full of love and ready to get married! They knew exactly what they wanted and I was ready to help make it happen.

First, we scheduled their bridals at the Salt Flats and let me tell you, it was WINDY! They totally went with the flow though and embraced every single second of it. They brought their pup Stella was so happy to be exploring and getting some extra love from her moms. Stella also has her own instagram page @stellamayoukestout if you want to see more cute photos of her. We also had a little polaroid photoshoot which was such a fun way to get some immediate photos to take home. When I say they made every aspect and detail of their wedding totally unique and special to them, I mean it! It was so fun spending every moment with them. From a bridal session, to getting ready photos, to dancing during golden hour after an intimate ceremony. It was all so special and they soaked in every moment.

Their wedding day started with Sydney and Kathryn both getting ready together. I love how they broke tradition and did this because it was so special. Once they were ready to go, we went to their venue which was a close friend’s backyard and it was STUNNING! One of the prettiest backyards I’ve ever seen. We did all the group photos before the ceremony, so that afterwards they could just hang out with their friends and family. One of my favorite parts of the day, was when they made craft cocktails for each other. Instead of doing cake cutting together, they made drinks together. It was so sweet and intimate and they followed it by doing their first dance together. The night ended with handmade desserts, which was the perfect little touch!
